American Spirit Run is a 5-man Relay Race between Fort Sam Houston & Camp Bullis. It commemorates the historical training of those now recognized as our ‘Greatest Generation’ and who served in the 2nd Infantry Division during the Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis and WWII. In addition to military branch service teams it is open to all who wish to register a team. While runners cast their aim at Camp Bullis, the community will plant THOUSANDS of flags along NW Military Highway to lend a spectacular site as runners head towards their finish line. The event is sponsored by the American Spirit Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging the community in activities that help promote the respect and vitality of our American spirit.
